About My Services
Schlegel Fine Art Consulting LLC (SFAC) offers fine art advisory, appraisal, and valuation services to help optimize your art collection and other personal property. SFAC also offers strategic and legacy planning for collections, including bequests, acquisitions, and charitable donations. Since founding the LLC in 2017, I bring 25 years of museum experience to bear, with a network of specialized colleagues to help.
SFAC's services are compliant with the current Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the rigorous standards of the International Society of Appraisers. I am an ISA Accredited Member specializing in fine art, and a Member of the New England Museums Association and the Association of American Museums. I hold a Ph.D. in art history from Columbia University and an M.A. in art history from the University of Chicago.
